| Thank you for your interest in becoming an Individual Member of the Spanish Moss Foundation. |
| 2006-2007 Individual Memberships |
- We ask that you make a charitable gift of $175 or more.
- Support from our Individual Members, quite simply put,
makes it possible for us to do our work. Your dollars help
us with our operating costs, so that we can put on our
events, get our talented artists and staff paid, and give
back to our worthy charities - which includes the Spanish Moss Foundation itself. Please see our Mission Statement for further explanation.
- Many of our donors give above and beyond, with gifts far greater than $175, in the true spirit of philanthropy, thinking not of giving so that we receive, but giving for the sake of giving. You know who you are. Thank you! We know that the spirit of philanthropy is contagious, and thank you for setting a great example for others.
- When you join as a member, you are invited as our guest
(complimentary) to Down
On The Farm III.
- You are invited to enjoy Members Only Access to Down on the Farm III (and any other Spanish Moss
Productions events over the course of the Spanish Moss fiscal year), which includes special camping among
artists and our Members Only Hospitality Tent (in
between the two stages) with $1
micro-brew beers (proceeds for the Spanish Moss Foundation).
- You receive a complementary compilation disc of artists
from Down on the Farm III.
- You are invited to enjoy unlimited, free hot showers at Down on the Farm III.
- You are invited to enjoy your choice of special car camping among artists behind the
main stage or car camping in the pines
with no vehicle fee.
- We count on our Members to take great pride in the work
of the Spanish Moss Foundation. This means being ambassadors
on our behalf. This means spreading the word and encouraging
other to join. This means helping us leave the grounds
in better condition in which we found them, and encouraging
others to do the same, always wanting to be invited back. This means having a great time,
and making folks feel welcome. This means being safe, respectful of others, and keeping
things family friendly. We're counting on YOU for your exemplary community service. Thank
you!
- You are mailed a receipt with your charitable tax deduction for the tax year in which you make your gift.
- You receive public thanks and acknowledgment among friends
on our members page and in our DOTF III program.
- You get a GREAT FEELING that you are a part of something
good and special.
- Memberships run on the Spanish Moss Foundation fiscal year, and are good from
July 1, 2006 - June 30, 2007. They must be renewed annually.

The mission of the Spanish Moss Foundation is to blend our deep rooted love of music, art, and the rich landscape of the South with a commitment to bettering our community and enriching the lives of those in need. We provide diversified quality services to the Big Bend area of beautiful North Florida and beyond by instilling a sense of philanthropy and civic responsibility through the arts in a safe, nurturing, and natural environment. Our priorities include youth scholarship, community outreach and education, and preservation and protection of our ecology.
The Irish poet William Butler Yeats wrote, in a poem entitled A Prayer for My Daughter, “Oh may she live like some green laurel, rooted in one dear, perpetual place.” This quotation evokes much the same emotion that we feel here on the Spanish Moss Farm, or the “Old Ball Farm,” as it is known to Quincy locals. With her significant history, bountiful landscape, and lovely, warm "welcome home" greeting, our vision for the Spanish Moss Farm is that dear, perpetual place where we can join together as partners to do impactful work - and retreat to a land of fine music, wide open spaces, cherished loved ones, and Southern hospitality.
The Spanish Moss Foundation is a Florida non-profit, with the Federal Tax ID #22-3902058 [501(c) 3 tax exempt organization status pending].
